Mike’s 1000sf Basement: Husqvarna Cut-n-Break
In a recent post, I spoke about cutting a hole in the foundation for a new window. Husqvarna sent us their latest monster called the “Cut-n-Break”. It sports 2 blades on the end of a chain saw bar, and allows an 18″ deep cut for thick foundations or window well additions. It worked well, but had some quirks. However, it worked much better than a large single blade concrete saw in the sense that dozens of tiny relief cuts were bypassed, and was much more economical than the chainsaw replica, made by Stihl.
